FAQ

What do I wear?

                All soccer players must wear shin pads, soccer cleats, socks and shorts.

When will I receive my uniform?

                Coaches will distribute the uniforms at the very first game. 

Why can’t I play on the same team as my friends?

                Due to the number of registrations we are not able to accommodate these requests without affecting the caliber of each team.

In the event of poor weather how do I know if my game is going ahead?

                The City of St. John's Recreation Division in conjunction with the Parks Division will make the decision as to whether or not the games will go ahead.  If a game is cancelled all members will be emailed, an announcement will be placed on all radio stations, a message will be placed on our outgoing information line as well as posted on this website.

What do I bring to the field?

                Please do not bring items of value to the field.  We recommend that all children and youth wear sunscreen and bring a sufficient amount of water.  Spectators are to sit on the opposite side of the field as the teams.

 

Who do I contact if I can’t make a scheduled game?

                Please notify the coach(es) of your team, at least two hours prior to the start of your game,  if you are unable to attend.
